After quite a long period of stabilization for YooRecipe, I take advantage of this post to make important announcements.
End of YooRecipe Support for Joomla 2.5 versions
It is now time to announce that YooRecipe support for Joomla 2.5 versions will end June 1st 2015. As you must know, Joomla 2.5 is not officially supported since Jan 1st 2015. You are kindly invited to prepare your migration to Joomla 3!
YooRecipe 5.0 development has now started
We are cooking a super release. Big enough to abandon 4.x versions and to jump to 5.0. You will benefit from new, improved features, like
- Image cropper utils: your pictures will be resized, without any stretching, to guarantee a nice display
- Search engine will be drastically improved, thanks to Stemming algorithms.
- New module positions will help you monetizing your website thanks to ads module
- EasySocial profile application will be developed
- JomSocial 4.0 will be supported
- Bootstrap 3 will be supported
- And last but not least, recipe creation process will be rebuilt from bottom up.
- An APi is also planned for those you would like to develop their own plugins, using triggered events.
